EPS meet at Amulree nursery and the Exotic plant fair at Haps in the Netherlands
6 Jun 2010
On 29th May, Simon at Amulree nursery in Norfolk welcomed members from some of the UK based exotic plant forums as well as members of the EPS. It was a great day out and a chance for people to stock up with new plants following this very harsh winter that leaves so many of us with gaps in the garden.
Simon has been taking delivery of lots of new and varied stock so there was plenty to choose from. A barbecue was provided too so all in all a really nice way to spend the day enjoyed by all who went.
From the Netherlands, our member Hent, also reported the great success of an exotic plant fair held at Haps in the Netherlands. Over 1000 attended getting a chance to buy plants from many diverse plant families. The weather looked good too and again a super opportunity to browse a wide selection and make some new additions to our collections.
It is so nice that the plant season is starting again after a long and cold winter period for so many of us in Europe!
