EPS Kew get together
A review of the annual Kew meet that took place on the 12th April and was a great event. Special treats this year were informal 'tours' of the Temperate House, Palm House and Palm Nursery given by their respective curators, David Cooke, Wesley Shaw and Steve Ketley - thank you for making the day so special.

April snow!
Well I guess one talking point for many of us, especially in the UK has been the recent snow!
I had thought we had been lucky again this past winter with relatively few frosty nights and many plants as a result making even earlier growth than usual. I have one of my Dicksonia antarctica treen ferns making new fronds for instance, weeks earlier than ever before.
