Re -publication of

I am pleased to report that a classical book on palms has been reprinted by the German publisher "Taschen". It is truly a ’palm classic’ and will be of interest to all serious palm collectors and those interested in the history of early natural history exploration. I could think of nobody better than our very own Martin Gibbons to review this monumental tome and this he has kindly undertaken with his review published here. A link has been placed to the Taschen site devoted to this book where you can electronically leaf from some of the stunning artworks that have been reproduced in the book.
